Android applications and website except where we state that separate terms apply).

About our Services

Melpot’s (“Melpot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) aim is to be a Melting pot in which people of different ideas, cultures and backgrounds blend together, become closer together and have them expressing themselves freely. We provide the Products and services described below to help advance this aim.
Give a unique experience for you:
Your experience with Melpot will absolutely be unique and like no other: from the Posts, Reacts, Comments, and other content you see in the Feed and other features you might use, such as Check-in, Voice post, and Status posts. We may utilize the information we have, for instance, about the settings you select, and what you share and do, to personalize your experience.
Connect you with people you know: We use the data we have to make suggestions for you and others to help you find and connect with people you may know.
Enable you to be yourself and get in touch with whomever you like: On Melpot, there are many ways to express yourself and to reach out to Friends, family, and others about whatever you like. For example, sharing status updates, photos, videos, voice posts, and sending messages to a Chum or multiple chums, by creating groups.

About Your Commitments to Melpot

These services are provided to you and others to help advance our aim. In return, we need you to make the following commitments:
1. Who can use Melpot
It is more secure and more accountable when people stand behind their opinions and actions. thus, you must: 

  • Give an exact and accurate information about yourself.
  • Create a single account (your own) and use your timeline for personal purposes.
  • Not give anyone your password, give access to your Melpot account to others, or switch your account to anyone else without Melpot’s permission.

Although Melpot tries to make its services obtainable to everyone, you cannot use Melpot if: 

  • You are under the minimum legal age in your country to use our services or under the age of 12 years old.
  • You are a registered sex offender.
  • Your account has been disabled due to violations of our terms or policies.
  • You are prohibited from receiving our services.

2. What can be shared and done on Melpot:
Melpot’s aim is to have people express themselves and to share whatever content matters to them. However, not to the detriment of the of the safety and well-being of others or the integrity of our community. Therefore, you agree to not taking part in any way in the conduct described below (facilitate, support others in doing so, etc.):
You must not use our Products to do or share anything:

  • If it violates our Terms, community standards, and different terms and policies that apply to your utilization of Melpot.
  • If it is unlawful, deceiving, discriminatory or fraudulent.
  • If it infringes or violates another person’s rights.·
  • You must not upload viruses or malicious code or do anything that could disable, overburden, or impair the proper working or appearance of our Products.
  • You must not get to or gather information from our services utilizing automated means (without our prior permission) or try to get to information you do not have authorization to get to. In the off chance of violation of these provisions by any user, if applicable we can remove any content shared. Furthermore, we may take action against your account, for the reasons described below, and disable your account if you repeatedly infringe other people’s intellectual property rights.

3. The authorizations you give us
In order to provide our services, certain permissions are needed from you:

  • The user owns the content create and share on Melpot and nothing in these Terms takes away the rights a user has to own contents. You are free to share your content with anyone else, wherever you want. However, we need to have permission to utilize that content in order to provide our services. In particular, when you post or upload content that is covered by intellectual property rights (such as photographs or recordings) on or linked with our services, you give us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, and overall permit to have, use, disseminate, modify, run, duplicate, openly perform or show, translate, and create derivative works of your content (reliable with your privacy and application settings) This implies, for instance, that in the event that you share a photograph on Melpot, you give us authorization to store, duplicate, and share it with others (again, consistent with your settings) like providers of some of our services. You can end this permit whenever by deleting the content or account. You should realize that, for technical reasons, content you erase may remain for a restricted timeframe in backup copies (though it will not be visible to other users). Bear in mind, content you erase may keep on showing up on the in the event that you have imparted it to other people, and they have not erased it.

Melpot Premium

Melpot Premium is a subscription membership. When you purchase Melpot Premium, you expressly agree that you are authorizing recurring payments, and that payments will be made to Melpot by the payment method and at the recurring intervals (monthly or annually) you have agreed to, until the subscription is canceled by you or by Melpot. You can manage your Melpot Premium subscription and Payment Information by accessing your Account’s setting or via your mobile app (for Melpot Premium subscriptions obtained through a third party). We automatically process your Payment Information on the calendar day corresponding to the start of your subscription. If your subscription starts on a day not contained in the next month, you will be billed on the last day of that month. Mobile renewal processing dates may vary subject to any additional third-party terms. If your Payment Information is declined, you must provide new Payment Information or your Melpot Premium subscription will be canceled. If you provide new Payment Information and are successfully charged, your new subscription period will be based on the original renewal date and not the date of the successful charge. You can cancel Melpot Premium any time. Your subscription automatically renews (each month or year) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before your subscription period ends. To cancel your subscription, follow the instructions in your Account’s setting. If you purchased Melpot Premium using your Apple ID, you can cancel your subscription through your device’s Account Settings or in the Manage Subscriptions section of the Apple App Store. If you purchased Melpot Premium using Google Play, you can cancel your subscription by visiting the Subscriptions section of Google Play. Your subscription will remain active from the time you cancel until the end of your current billing period, and you will not receive a refund or credit for any remaining days in your current billing period. You acknowledge at the end of your subscription, you will lose access to all features associated with Melpot Premium including, without limitation, any features enabling you to save or store limited-time Virtual Goods exclusive to Melpot Premium.

Virtual Goods

Virtual Goods are virtual currency or items, including MelCoins and Friends, etc. Virtual Goods have no monetary value (i.e., are not a cash account or equivalent) and do not constitute currency or property of any type). Users have no property, proprietary, intellectual property, ownership, or monetary interest in promotional or purchased Virtual Goods, which remain Melpot digital content subject to these Terms. Virtual Goods are non-refundable and non-transferable between Accounts. Virtual Goods gifted to other users will not be returned (e.g., if you gift another user, you cannot take the Virtual Goods back). You may not sell, barter, or trade any Virtual Goods, or offer to sell or trade any Virtual Goods. Any such attempted transfer will be null and void. Melpot may modify its Virtual Goods at its sole discretion, and such modifications may make some or all Virtual Goods more or less common, desirable, effective, or functional. The number of Virtual Goods required to use other Virtual Goods (e.g., Coins needed to award another user) may be increased or decreased, any Virtual Good may be withdrawn, and restrictions on any Virtual Good redemption may be imposed at any time, even though such changes may affect the value or utility of the Virtual Good, or the ability to obtain certain Virtual Goods. Melpot does not guarantee that the Virtual Goods will continually be offered for any particular length of time. Melpotmay modify, suspend, or terminate Virtual Goods for any or no reason, in its sole discretion, and without advance notice or liability. In accumulating Virtual Goods, users may not rely upon the continued availability of any Virtual Goods.

Paid Services Obtained Through Third Parties

If you obtain a Melpot Premium subscription or Virtual Goods via a third party (e.g., Google Play, Apple App Store), that purchase may be further subject to the third party’s terms as agreed between you and such third party. For Paid Services purchases obtained via a third party, your billing relationship will be directly with the applicable third party. Any fees charged for your Virtual Goods or Melpot Premium subscription will be billed by the applicable third party using the payment information you have provided to such third party.
Your purchase may be subject to foreign exchange fees or differences in prices based on location (e.g. exchange rates).

Suspension and Termination

As stated in Melpot’s Terms of service and Privacy Policy, you must follow and comply with the rules of the platform and the rules of the individual activity you participate in. Failure to do so may constitute a breach of these Terms and result in a temporary or permanent ban from Melpot or certain activities or the removal of certain Virtual Goods. In such instances, you might lose the benefits of Melpot Premium or Virtual Goods and we will not compensate you for this loss.

No Warranty

(This is our disclaimer of legal liability for the quality, safety, or reliability of our Services.) MELPOT AND ITS AFFILIATES MAKE NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY ABOUT THE SERVICES, INCLUDING ANY REPRESENTATION THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, AND PROVIDE THE SERVICES (INCLUDING CONTENT AND INFORMATION) ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, MELPOT AND ITS AFFILIATES DISCLAIM ANY IMPLIED OR STATUTORY WARRANTY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF TITLE, ACCURACY OF DATA, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Further agreements

1. Updating our Terms:
We always work to improve our services and develop new and bested features to make our services better for the user. Accordingly, we may need to update these Terms every now and then to precisely reflect our services and practices. Except if legally required, we will inform you before we make changes to these Terms and offer you a chance to review them before they go into effect. When any updated Terms are in effect, you will be bound by them if you keep on utilizing our Products.
We trust that you will keep utilizing our Products, however, in the event that you do not consent to our updated Terms and never again want to be a part of Melpot, you can delete your account at any time.

2. Account suspension or termination:
Melpot’s aim is to bring people closer together and have them expressing themselves freely. We must make sure that people feel safe and welcome to achieve that aim. In the event that we verify that you have misused our terms or policies, we may take an action against your account to protect our users and services, including by suspending access to your account or disabling it. We may likewise suspend or disable your account in the event that you create risk or legal exposure for us or when we are permitted or required to do so by law. In the event that a user deletes, or we disable a user’s account, these Terms will end as an agreement between the user and Melpot, but the following agreements will remain in place: 3, 4 and 5.

Clear rules are provided so that disputes are hopefully limited and avoided between a user and us. On the off chance that a dispute does arise, however, you agree that the claim must be resolved exclusively in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, that you submit to the personal jurisdiction of any of its courts for the purpose of litigating any such claim, and that the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will govern these Terms and any claim, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

5. Other

  1. These Terms (some time ago known as the Statement of Rights and Responsibilities) make up the whole agreement between a user and Melpot. with respect to utilization of our Products. They override any earlier agreements.
  2. If you utilize any of the services we offer that has supplemental terms, they will become part of our agreement with you.
  3. If any segment of these Terms are found to be unenforceable, the rest of the segment will stay in full power and effect. In the event that we neglect to uphold any of these Terms, it won’t be viewed as a waiver. Any amendment to or waiver of these Terms must be made in writing and signed by us.
  4. You will not exchange any of your rights or commitments under these Terms to any other individual without our consent.

  6. You should realize that we may need to change the username for your account in specific conditions (for example, if someone else claims the username and it appears unrelated to the name you use in everyday life).
  7. We always value your criticism and different recommendations about our services. In any case, you should realize that we may utilize them with no limitation or commitment to remunerate you, and we are under no commitment to keep them secret.
  8. We hold all rights not explicitly conceded to you.
